When we work
Lab hours
The lab is open between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday.
After hours
Occasionally, we will open between 5-6pm on weekdays or between 9 and 3pm on Saturdays to accommodate children and their families who would like to participate in our research but are not available during normal working hours.
Lab holidays
The lab is closed on University recognized holidays:
- Independence Day
- Labor Day, Monday
- Thanksgiving, Thursday and Friday
- Special Winter Break (Dec 24, 2018 - Jan 1, 2019)
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday
- Memorial Day, Monday
And during Fall and Spring breaks:
- Spring Term Break (March 2-10, 2019)
- Fall Term Break (October 10-13, 2019)
- Thanksgiving Break (November 28-December 1, 2019)
The lab will remain open during Reading days, Final exam week, Winter break (not including the Special Winter Break), and in the summer, though students are not required to work during those times. Students who choose not to work during these times should notify their supervisor.
Students who wish to continue working during Fall and Spring terms breaks should discuss this with Katie to make arrangements.
